This page covers how the site handles your information. The short version: it's a static information site, it barely touches your data, and whatever you type into the tools never leaves your browser.
This is a static information site
ChainTunnel is a set of static pages — no sign-up, no login, no comments, no account system. You come to read articles and use the tools; we don't ask you for any personal information, and there's nowhere to fill in a form or leave your details.
The address validator, memo lookup, network picker, and the other tools here all run inside your browser. The wallet address you paste into the address validator, and anything else you type into a tool, is computed locally on your device — it isn't uploaded to any server, isn't stored by us, and never leaves your browser. We can't see what you entered. And because it's a purely front-end format check, the tools don't look up your balance or transactions on-chain — they only judge whether the format is valid.
We don't collect personal information
The site doesn't go out and collect your name, email, phone, wallet address, or other personal information. The one time we get any of your information is when you email us — then we naturally see your email address and what's in your message. We use that only to reply and to handle what you raised; we don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
By default, the site doesn't use third-party analytics or ad cookies, doesn't run personalized ads, and doesn't load scripts that track you across sites.
When the server delivers a page, it may — as is standard practice — generate basic access logs (things like the time of the visit, a rough source, and the browser type). That information is used to keep the site running and secure, not to identify you personally.
If we ever turn on site analytics or another service that uses cookies, we'll update this page to say exactly what it is and why — we won't add it quietly. You can always come back and check the update date at the top of this page.
External resources the site loads
To display correctly, the site loads resources like fonts from third parties (for example, Google Fonts). Loading those makes your browser send a request to the relevant provider as a technical necessity — that's normal for how web pages load, and the data handling there falls under each provider's own policy.
External links
The site links to external sites like Binance and block explorers. The moment you open one of those links, you're on their turf — how they collect and use your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. It's worth a look at their privacy terms before you do anything on those sites.
Children
This site is for adults, not children, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.
